Postcards are a unique item that Living Outside includes in our care bags to support homeless people in all aspects of their lives. We believe that love and connection are just as basic of necessities as food and water. Post cards give people an opportunity to reconnect with family and friends, a right that should not be lost due to their living situation. After including postcards in our bags (and we encourage you to include multiple for people living outside to hand out themselves), the response has been overwhelmingly positive; we encourage you to try it for yourself! When including postcards, make sure to take into account pens and stamps!

P.S. Postcards can be a great thing to bring on their own if you're just going out with a small bag or fanny pack!
