Living Outside
ABOUT

There are over 150 million people in the world living in homelessness. In 2020, sisters Bella and Arden created their first care bags to hand out directly to people living outside. The original bags contained things like granola bars, gloves, and Purell. After speaking with recipients, the contents expanded to include small luxuries like postcards and warm socks. Bella and Arden discovered that handing out bags directly fosters a unique sense of giving back, one that cannot be replicated by donating through third-party organizations. Seeing and interacting with real people, and hearing their stories, has led the sisters on a mission to combat the stigma surrounding homelessness. No matter the situation, everyone is worthy of dignity and respect. We are all worthy of love and care.

Our mission is twofold: to humanize people living outside through direct aid and conversation and to destigmatize homelessness among youth and teens.
WHAT SETS US APART?

We travel directly to people in need to deliver our bags and get their feedback.

Besides lessening the plight of homelessness, we concentrate on stigma reduction.
